How do I know if WAP and mobile internet are working on my phone?

View the Services menu (for Nokia phones) or Internet menu (for other phones) and open your operator's main page bookmark (e.g. Orange World or Vodafone Live etc). If you are on Vodafone and you can access the Vodafone Live service, or, if you are on T-Mobile and you can access t-zones, you are already setup. If you cannot access any WAP or Internet page, you are probably not subscribed to the WAP service or you do not have the correct settings on your phone. You can get your WAP and Internet working on your phone by contacting your network provider, who can assist you in setting up the phone. back to top

Why does my phone keep asking me to allow an internet connection when I use the application?

As a security measure configured by most operators, you are asked permission to connect to the internet for most Java applications. You can usually set your phone to perform this check only when starting the application. Please consult you phone user manual for more information. For example, on Nokia 6600 you can do that by going in Menu->Manager, select the application, press Options and, under the Connectivity Options, select 'Ask first time'. back to top

What happens if a new version of Vital Mobile becomes available?

If a new version of the application becomes available a notice will automatically be displayed on your phone screen next time you run the application. If it is a compulsory update then you will not be allowed to continue without downloading the latest version. If the update notice is for optional update then you can skip the update for now and continue using the old version application. Every time you start the old application, however, you will again be prompted to download the latest version.
Note: We make no extra charge for these updates. back to top
